Larry June & The Alchemist Announce Joint Album ‘The Nice Escape’

Larry June and The Alchemist have linked up for his or her debut collaborative album. On Friday (March 3), the pair introduced that their forthcoming LP, titled The Nice Escape, would arrive on March 31. The album is helmed by lead single, “89 Earthquake,” accompanied by a music video directed by Sean Kelly.

Final August, June launched LP Spaceships on the Blade, with options from Babyface Ray (“Additional of Um”), 2 Chainz (“Nonetheless Boomin”), Curren$y (“5.0 Chronicles”), Syd (“For Tonight”), Duckwrth (“Model New Equipment”), and Wallo267 (“Instruments of the Sport (Interlude)”) throughout 19 tracks.

The Alchemist had an equally productive 2022, dropping solo challenge The Alchemist Sandwich, along with Continuance with Curren$y, The Elephant Man’s Bones with Roc Marciano and One Extra with MIKE and Wiki.

In a 2021 Complex interview, The Alchemist talked about how he decides to collaborate with an artist.

“I strategy each in another way—the identical means as a painter would step to the canvas and attempt to do one thing completely different.
