Spellbinding Night time Pictures from Across the World
From the historic archives of NASA to the perimeters of the planet Earth, this assortment of extraordinary night time pictures explores the magical reaches of the starry sky. His sequence Lux Noctis has taken him to a number of the most remoted areas within the American West, in addition to distant spots in Europe and South America, below the quilt of darkness. When she was just a little woman, photographer Tiina Törmänen constructed castles out of snow. The San Francisco-based photographer Beth Moon has spent greater than a decade of her life searching down our planet’s oldest bushes, chasing them to their remoted and solitary bowers on the edges of civilization. After devoting fourteen years to capturing historical bushes by day, the photographer launched into Diamond Nights, for which she captured the looming vegetation below the black shroud of midnight and illuminated by a dusting of twinkling stars. The darkness, she remembers, was so thick that she was unable to see her personal arms.
