Wayne Shorter, Iconic Jazz Saxophonist, Lifeless At 89

Wayne Shorter, one of many giants of jazz and a wizard with the saxophone, was a part of the style’s experimental shifts of the Sixties and Seventies, spawning a brand new path that honored the roots. Wayne Shorter was born on August 25, 1933, in Newark, N.J., and raised within the space by grade college.
